CAMAS — You go, girls! To downtown Camas on Thursday night, that is.

The Downtown Camas Association is hosting Girls Night Out, a “fun and powerful evening celebrating the strength and joy of being a woman,” according to a statement, and benefiting local breast cancer charities.

The evening’s events run from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, beginning at the corner of Fourth and Birch streets. On tap are music, beauty treatments, “fun and girly” photo shoots, free massage, survivor images and stories, blessing board, local art and inspiration, shopping and dining promotions, panty decorating, free pink cupcakes, raffles, “Hoops for Pink” hosted by Camas High School girls basketball stars, and more.

Registration is $15 for all the evening’s festivities; all proceeds will be donated to the Kearney Breast Center and Breast Friends. Contact Carrie Schulstad at 360-834-5445 or visit http://www.downtowncamas.com for more details.
