Ah, don’t let the weather on Monday fool you. Yes, we got an unexpected break in the clouds with only light showers early in the morning and plenty of afternoon sunshine bringing our string of 70 degree plus to five days. Gotta love that!
However, things will cool down dramatically on Wednesday, with sticking snow still being forecast for the mountain passes this week.
For the first 16 days of this month, Vancouver was running below normal both in the average mean temperature and in the rainfall department. Over the next several days, the rain amounts will go up and the temperatures will go down, although there should be some breaks between the bands of moisture that move through.
I wouldn’t rule out a thunderstorm, either.
