Vancouver police detectives were working on two domestic violence cases Monday after officers searched for men who were believed to possibly be armed in separate incidents on Sunday in the Rose Village and Kevanna Park neighborhoods.

About 4:20 p.m. Sunday, several officers and a tracking dog searched a home at East 32nd and X streets for a 32-year-old man with a previously issued felony warrant charging domestic violence.

Later Sunday evening, at least 10 officers converged near Northeast 49th Street and 112th Avenue, south of Orchards, after an alleged assault and searched Kevanna Park for a man in his 30s.

Monday evening, officers had reported no arrests and the cases were referred to the domestic violence unit, police said.
