INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Safety Antoine Bethea, defensive end Robert Mathis and receiver Reggie Wayne have skipped the Indianapolis Colts’ first voluntary mini-camp of the offseason.

Bethea is a restricted free agent who hasn’t yet signed the team’s offer sheet and isn’t allowed to work out until he does. Wayne traditionally skips the voluntary camps to work out in Miami. Coach Jim Caldwell says Mathis wasn’t there because he earned his college degree last weekend.

Caldwell expressed no concerns over the three not being in Indianapolis.

The Colts also had three injured players back on the field Thursday — receiver Anthony Gonzalez, safety Bob Sanders and kicker Adam Vinatieri. All three missed most of last season.

The Colts are wrapping up three days of workouts Thursday.
