KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) — A pickax bounced out of a pickup truck on I-405 in Kirkland and smashed through the windshield of a car.
The Washington State Patrol says the pickax brushed the driver Sunday and lodged between the front seats.
Troopers are looking for the driver of the pickup. The patrol also reminds all drivers that an unsecured load that causes an injury could bring up to a year in jail.
