1 killed, 2 injured in high-speed Tacoma crash

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — One man was killed and two critically injured when their car crashed in a north Tacoma neighborhood near Point Defiance Park.

Neighbors told reporters the car was speeding about 11 p.m. Monday when it went it went airborne into a parked truck and ended up in a yard.

All three of the men inside were ejected. One flew into a tree and died at the scene.

The other two were taken to Tacoma General Hospital.
