MUKILTEO, Wash. (AP) — Anti-tax initiative sponsor Tim Eyman is striking close to home with his latest measure — a ban on red light cameras in Mukilteo.
He says residents should have a chance to vote on the automated ticketing system. Eyman says the revenue from red light traffic fines is like a drug to city leaders.
KIRO News reports Eyman needs 1,800 signatures to put the red light camera ban on the August ballot in Mukilteo.
