SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea says it will scrap an accord aimed at preventing accidental naval clashes with South Korea.
The North’s military said in a statement said Thursday it also will ban South Korean personnel and vehicles from entering a joint industrial park at the North Korean border town of Kaesong.
The statement was carried by the official Korean Central News Agency. It comes amid tension over the sinking of a South Korean warship blamed on a North Korean torpedo attack.
