The grand opening of the La Center Farmer’s Market is slated for Thursday afternoon.
The new market will run from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 9. The market will be located on Aspen Street, between Fourth and Fifth avenues.
The farmer’s market will offer fresh produce and artisan crafts. More than 25 vendors are scheduled to participate. Cooking demonstrations, street entertainment and live music will also be featured. A children’s booth will offer weekly activities.
