Political candidates, campaign volunteers or wannabe candidates and volunteers, as well as anyone interested in campaign strategies, can attend “Winning Ways to Run for Office.”

The free workshop will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark County Elections Office, 1408 Franklin St.

Featured speakers will include political consultant Temple Lentz, who ran Vancouver Mayor Tim Leavitt’s campaign; Vancouver lobbyist Mark Brown; and Jim Mains, a public affairs consultant.

Other speakers include Tim Likness, Clark County’s elections director, who will speak about the official process and Election Office resources, and Curtis Knopp from the Washington Department of Transportation, who will address the issue of campaign signs.

After the presentations, there will be a Q & A session and an informal reception.
