Boys & Girls Clubs offer free summer meals

CLARK COUNTY — All children age 18 and younger can enjoy free meals at Boys & Girls clubhouses and other sites in Vancouver and Hazel Dell this summer.

The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture’s Simplified Summer Food Program for Children will run Mondays through Fridays from June 28 through Aug. 27, with no service on July 5.

Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Hazel Dell Elementary School, 511 N.E. Anderson Road, and Roosevelt Elementary School, 2921 Falk Road.

An afternoon snack will be served from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clinton and Gloria John Clubhouse, 409 N.E. Anderson Road, and at the new O.K. Clubhouse & Teen Turf Club, 4040 Plomondon Road.
