YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Police in Yakima, Washington, are looking for those involved in a fatal shooting near Yakima Valley Community College, one of two shootings in the city on Sunday.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports that 18-year-old Daniel Rivera was shot several times Sunday afternoon and died after being taken to Yakima Regional Medical Center. Officers say Rivera was arguing with several people before the shooting and had been chased into a yard.
Police say that on Sunday evening, a 20-year-old man was shot in the arm after getting into a fight. Officers say both shootings appear to be gang-related.
