EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — A pair of brothers are among three men arrested as suspects in a home invasion robbery last week in Oakridge.

The Register-Guard reported that 41-year-old Wayne Thomas New of Eugene and 45-year-old David Bryan New of Lakeside, Calif., were arraigned Monday in Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene on various charges involving the robbery and a high-speed chase last Friday.

Also arraigned was 50-year-old Byron Leroy Loftis of El Cajon, Calif.

The arrests followed the chase, the crash of a sport utility vehicle in a ditch and a search for suspects who fled on foot by the Oregon State Police, Lane County sheriff’s deputies, Springfield and Eugene police and U.S. Bureau of Land Management enforcement officers.
