VALHALLA, N.Y. (AP) — Four Pace University football players who were arrested in the chaotic aftermath of the fatal shooting of their teammate by New York police have pleaded not guilty.

An arraignment was held Thursday in Valhalla, N.Y., for Daniel Parker of Lauderhill, Fla.; Joseph Garcia of Floral Park, N.Y.; Yves Delpeche of Brooklyn; and Joseph Romanick of Slidell, La.

Parker, Garcia and Delpeche are charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction. Romanick is charged with criminal mischief.

They were arrested Oct. 17 after teammate Danroy Henry of Easton, Mass., was killed outside a Thornwood, N.Y. bar.

The Mount Pleasant Town Court judge says a defense motion to dismiss the charges could be made later this month.
