Admission fees will be waived on Nov. 11 at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in honor of Veterans Day.

The no-pay day at the reconstructed Fort Vancouver stockade will be part of a nationwide fee waiver.

The public is admitted free each Veterans Day to all federal recreation sites and public lands managed by the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation.

The Fort Vancouver National Historic Site is one of 393 National Park Service sites.

The park service also has announced some of the no-fee days for next year: April 16-24 for National Park Week; Sept. 24 for Public Lands Day; and Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
