CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Gino Gordon ran for 109 yards and Harvard kept Columbia mostly out of the red zone in a 23-7 win on Saturday.

The Crimson (6-2, 4-1 Ivy League) put up 412 yards of offense, while the Lions (3-5, 1-4) were 0-for-2 in red-zone chances and turned it over twice on fumbles.

Up 3-0 after David Mothander’s 29-yard field goal, Collier Winters had the Crimson moving.

However, on fourth-and-10 from the Columbia 35, he threw an interception to Craig Hamilton. Hamilton then fumbled into the hands of Harvard’s Mike Cook on the Lions’ 19.

Four plays later, Gordon scored on a 5-yard run for a 10-0 lead late in the second quarter.

Harvard added two running touchdowns and led 23-0 after an 11-yard run by Treavor Scales.

The Lions scored on Sean Brackett’s 36-yard pass to Kurt Williams with 2:14 left. Williams had 123 yards on seven catches.
