THIBODAUX, La. (AP) — Jeremy Moses threw three touchdown passes and Gralyn Crawford scored on a 99-yard kickoff return as Stephen F. Austin routed Nicholls State 48-13 on Saturday.

The Lumberjacks (7-2, 4-1 Southland Conference), who remain tied with McNeese State atop the league standings, jumped out to a 34-0 lead.

Jeremy Barnes scored two of his three touchdowns in the first quarter — on a 6-yard rush and a 4-yard reception — and Corde Roberson caught scoring passes of 1 and 73 yards.

Stephen F. Austin rolled up 412 of its 461 yards of total offense in the first half while holding the Colonels (2-7, 1-4) to 42, including minus-2 yards rushing.

Crawford opened the second half with his kickoff return and the Lumberjacks scored again 37 seconds later. After Chika Madu fumbled the kickoff and Drew Nelson recovered, Barnes scored on a 4-yard run. Nicholls State then scored 10 points.
