Quebrada Shiner wins Aqueduct feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Quebrada Shiner rolled to a two-length victory over Exclusive Scheme on Friday in the $52,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Aqueduct.

The 5-year-old bred in Argentina led all the way with Jose Lezcano up for trainer Bob Barbara. She got her sixth win in 13 starts, covering the one mile in 1:37.08 over the firm course.

Quebrada Shiner paid $12.60, $5.50 and $3.80. Exclusive Scheme returned $6.90 and $3.80. Darjeeling earned $3.70 to show.
