BEND, Ore. (AP) — Authorities investigating the disappearance of a 48-year-old Bend, Ore., woman say they’ve found a black and white sweater believed to belong to Lori Blaylock.

Marion County sheriff’s spokesman Don Thomson said Monday the sweater had been placed under a tree and covered with forest debris in an area about 412 miles downstream from Marion Forks along the North Santiam River.

Thomson says the woman’s pants, shoes and purse have not been found. Bend police detectives made the discovery Friday.

The woman’s husband, 46-year-old Steven Blaylock, was arrested last week for investigation of murder.

Blaylock told police he last saw his wife on the evening of Oct. 28 at their home. Lori Blaylock’s co-workers reported her missing when she didn’t report for work Nov. 2.
