LONDON (AP) — Britain’s Prince Harry says he’s delighted his brother is finally engaged.
The third in line to the throne has issued as statement saying he is “delighted that my brother has popped the question!”
Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their engagement Tuesday after eight years of dating. The prince says he proposed to Middleton last month during a holiday in Kenya.
Harry says the news means he gets a sister, “which I have always wanted.”
The soldier prince made the statement after training for the day Tuesday.
