Aloha woman suffers smoke inhalation

ALOHA, Ore. (AP) — An Aloha woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after a house fire in her home on Saturday morning.

The woman, who authorities did not identify, suffered from smoke inhalation. She was found on the second floor of the home by Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue crews.

A neighbor reported the fire at about 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.

The woman was taken to Legacy Emanuel Hospital.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The rest of the home’s residents will be staying with family members until the residence can be repaired.
