Crash in central Oregon kills 1, injures 10 others

CULVER, Ore. (AP) — An SUV failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another car in central Oregon, killing a man and injuring 10 others, including six children.

Oregon State Police says 73-year-old Leonard Franklin Ross, of Metolius, died after being taken to St. Charles Medical Center in Redmond. The crash occured Saturday night crash north of Culver.

The Oregonian reports that conditions were not immediately known for 10 others who suffered serious injuries.

State police say 28-year-old Andrea Orozco, of Madras, failed to stop and her SUV collided with a car driven by 61-year-old Linda Ross, of Metolius.
