NEW YORK (AP) — Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o broke his nose during the Fighting Irish’s game against Army at Yankee Stadium, but is expected to play Saturday against Southern California.

Irish coach Brian Kelly said on a teleconference with reporters that the sophomore linebacker had his nose set Sunday and would be cleared to play at USC.

Te’o is Notre Dame’s leading tackler with 118, 37 more than any other Irish defender.
