C-Tran routes with Portland service joined during commute

With an eye on a forecasted snowfall, two C-Tran routes that provide service to Portland will be combined during the evening commute, according to a news bulletin.

The Salmon Creek Express (134) and 99th Street Express (99) will be consolidated into one route with service to the Salmon Creek Park and Ride and the 99th Street Transit Center. Passengers can of these routes can catch any bus whose head sign reads “134/199” at any stop serving these two routes along reach Southwest 6th Avenue in Portland on any bus labeled 134/199.

The plan is for all other C-Tran routes to operate on regular routes. However, that could change if conditions worsen.
