BETHLEHEM, Pa. (AP) — C.J. McCollum scored 20 points and pulled down a game-high 13 rebounds as Lehigh held on to beat Cornell 60-57 on Monday night.

The Mountain Hawks (2-2) only shot 16 for 53 from the floor (30.2 percent), but established a 30-23 halftime lead thanks to 13-of-16 shooting from the free-throw line (81 percent).

Lehigh’s 7-point halftime margin, 30-23, proved to be enough as the Big Red outscored the Mountain Hawks 34-30 in the second, but it wasn’t enough.

Cornell (2-3) shot 5 for 11 from 3-point range (45.5 percent) in the second half.

Chris Wroblewski led the Big Red with 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting from behind the arc (57.1 percent). Drew Ferry had 10 points off the bench for Cornell.

Michael Ojo added 11 points for Lehigh and was the only other Mountain Hawk besides McCollum in double figures.
