ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) — A check of dental records has failed to identify a woman whose body was found Sept. 6 in a shallow grave at the Suncadia resort at Cle Elum.
The Ellensburg Daily Record reports the Kittitas County sheriff’s office is still waiting for DNA evidence. Meanwhile, the King County medical examiner’s office is working on a facial reconstruction to indicate what the woman may have looked like.
She is believed to have been killed between the 1960s and early 1990s.
Her body was found by workers on a golf course water system project.
