NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey Nets’ sixth man Terrence Williams will miss the next two games because of repeated violations of team rules.

Nets coach Avery Johnson says the second-year guard will not be active for Tuesday night’s home game against the Atlanta Hawks and will not travel to Boston for Wednesday night’s game.

Johnson would not discuss specifics. The coach says Williams has been fined a couple of times and the message has not sunk in.

Williams was not in the Nets’ locker room before the game.
