BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Andre Stringer scored 16 points and LSU coach Trent Johnson won his 200th game as the Tigers defeated Centenary 78-36 on Wednesday night.
Stringer matched his season-high with four 3-pointers and Malcolm White added 14 points and seven rebounds for LSU.
Johnson, who is 200-151 in his career, coached at Nevada and Stanford before joining the Tigers in 2008.
Centenary (0-6) was held to 36 points, the fewest allowed by the Tigers since defeating Nicholls State 68-24 eight years ago.
