Vancouver native Chris Rolling will offer an update on Haiti at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Rolling’s presentation will be in the basement meeting room of the Pacific Tower Building, 915 Broadway.

Rolling has lived in Haiti for eight years and is in Vancouver visiting his family during Thanksgiving.

Rolling is executive director of Clean Water for Haiti, a faith-based humanitarian mission.

The nonprofit organization manufactures filters that purify water, a much-needed resource in a country that ranks last on the world water-quality index.

Rolling and his wife, Leslie, were in Haiti during the Jan. 12 earthquake. They have written about their experiences at http://rollingsinhaiti.wordpress.com.

Rolling will discuss what’s happened to the money that was donated after the earthquake, why it’s taking so long to rebuild Haiti and what’s being done to slow the cholera epidemic.

RSVPs are appreciated, at Sara@RollingsHomes.com or 360-695-3798.
