NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Hannah Tuomi scored 16 points and freshman Jasmine Lister had 15, leading No. 24 Vanderbilt past Princeton 74-68 to capture its own Thanksgiving Tournament championship Sunday.

Tiffany Clarke added 12 points for the Commodores (4-1), who are undefeated in the 12 years of the tournament.

Princeton’s Addie Micir had 20 points and made six 3-pointers in the second half, the last two pulling the Tigers (3-2) within three with 1:20 and then 40 seconds to play. But Christina Foggie hit a 3-pointer with 58 seconds to play, and Vanderbilt made 3 of 4 free throws in the final 30 seconds to seal the victory.

Niveen Rasheed scored 15 and Lauren Edwards had 14 for Princeton.

Lister and Gabby Smith hit back-to-back 3s to stop an 8-2 Princeton run that pulled the Tigers within 57-55 on Rasheed’s layup with 5:47 left.

Tuomi was tournament MVP.
