Boise State routs Northern Illinois 80-51

DE KALB, Ill. (AP) — La’Shard Anderson scored 17 points and Westly Perryman added 14 Monday night to lead Boise State past Northern Illinois 80-51.

Paul Noonan scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Broncos (6-0), who outscored the Huskies 28-13 in the final 10 minutes of the first half to take control. Perryman had 11 points in the first half, and finished the game with six steals. Robert Arnold had nine points and eight rebounds in the game.

Northern Illinois (2-3) had a miserable night from the field, making just 30 percent of its shots. Bryan Hall was the only Huskies player to make more than half his shots (5 of 9), and was the only one in double figures with 10 points.

Boise State led 44-24 at halftime.
