Cardinals missing two starters on D against 49ers

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Starting defensive end Calais Campbell and cornerback Greg Toler were among the inactive players for the Arizona Cardinals against the San Francisco 49ers.

Campbell, out with an ankle injury, was replaced in the starting lineup by Alan Branch. Mike Adams replaced Toler, who has a foot injury.

Receiver Max Komar, safety Hamza Abdullah, cornerback Marshay Green, linebacker Reggie Walker, center Ben Claxton also were out.

Among the key players out for San Francisco were tackle Joe Staley (broken leg), kicker Joe Nedney (right knee) and cornerback William James (concussion).

Receiver Kyle Williams, defensive backs Tramaine Brock and DB William James, linebacker Thaddeus Gibson and T Alex Boone also were inactive.
