YWCA raised $125,762 at fundraising luncheon

The 16th annual fundraising luncheon hosted by the YWCA Clark County brought in total revenues of $125,762.

According to a press release, more than 625 people turned out to contribute to the Y and hear keynote speaker Trisha Meili. Meili, known for years as “The Central Park Jogger” after she was assaulted and left for dead while jogging in New York City in 1989, described her journey of healing and recovery.

The event was held on Sept. 2 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington. The Columbian was one of many corporate sponsors.
