GOLDENDALE, Wash. (AP) — The unusual Maryhill Museum of Art will undergo the first expansion in its 70-year history.
The board on Monday announced plans for a $10 million project to be completed by March 2012 at the museum south of Goldendale.
The new 25,500-square foot Mary and Bruce Stevenson Wing will include an art education center, improved storage and more efficient access to the museum’s collections. There will also be an outdoor sculpture plaza and a new cafe.
