FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — LaDainian Tomlinson is proving all his doubters wrong with every big run, flashing the same scintillating moves that made him one of the league’s most exciting players.

Tomlinson is rejuvenated after a couple of mediocre seasons in San Diego — something he says doesn’t surprise him. He says playing for the New York Jets has been great for him and he expects to continue his high level of play.

Despite a career filled with records and accolades, the seventh-leading rusher in NFL history had only two teams pursue him in the offseason: the Jets and Minnesota.

Tomlinson gets to show the Vikings what they’re missing on Monday night in the Jets’ next game. The AFC offensive player of the week had 133 yards rushing last week.
