LAKEBAY, Wash. (AP) — The Pierce County sheriff’s office says three or four suspects remain at large after a shootout at a marijuana grow-house at Lakebay, on the Key Peninsula between Tacoma and Shelton.

Residents in the area are being advised to stay inside and call 911 if they see anyone suspicious.

Spokesman Ed Troyer says about a half-dozen people invaded the house about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, and a gunbattle with the resident erupted. Fifty to 100 shots were fired.

One of the invaders was killed and another wounded along with the resident. A woman driving a getaway car was arrested. The others remain at large and may be wounded.
