SEQUIM, Wash. (AP) — A van plunged more than 30 feet off a bluff Thursday along the Strait of Juan de Fuca (FEW’-kuh) at Dungeness and landed in water about 3 feet deep.

First responders with Clallam County Fire District 3 told The Peninsula Daily News the driver had head injuries.

KOMO News reports a Coast Guard helicopter training in the Sequim area flew her to Olympic Memorial Hospital in Port Angeles. She was later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
