Gasoline prices fall in Vancouver

The average price of regular gasoline in Vancouver slipped by 3 cents this week to $2.93 per gallon, down from $2.96 per gallon a week ago and bucking the national trend, according to AAA Oregon/Idaho.

The national average for regular unleaded increased 4 cents to $2.73 per gallon, reflecting a sustained increase in oil prices that has raised the price of crude oil by $5 to around $82 per barrel.
