SEATTLE (AP) — A King County Superior Court judge has sentenced a 52-year-old man who attacked homeless women in Seattle to 28 years in prison.
Reginald Breaux pleaded guilty in July to charges of first-degree rape with a deadly weapon, second-degree rape and attempted first-degree rape. Seattlepi.com reports that at his sentencing Friday, Judge Joan DuBuque called his acts extremely brutal.
Breaux was arrested in January 2009 after eyewitnesses to the attacks and DNA recovered at the scenes of three assaults enabled Seattle police to identify him.
