SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) — Jordan Brown rushed for a touchdown and scored on a punt return in the fourth quarter as Bryant rallied to beat Sacred Heart 25-24 in Northeast Conference play on Saturday.

The Bulldogs (4-2, 1-2) trailed 24-7 in the fourth quarter before a 4-yard touchdown pass from Mike Croce to Doug Emerzian made the score 24-13 in favor of the Pioneers (1-5, 0-4) after the extra point was blocked.

Bryant then recovered an onside kick and went on a four play, 36-yard drive in just 1:50 as Brown ran it in from 2-yards away to pull the Bulldogs to within five points, 24-19, after a failed two-point conversion.

Sacred Heart was forced to punt after failing to get a first down and Brown followed with a 73-yard punt return for a touchdown with 5:06 remaining for the game-deciding score.

Brown finished with 130 yards rushing on 36 carries and 85 return yards.
