NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Quarterback Andre Broadous threw for two scores and ran for two more as Cal Poly went on the road to defeat Old Dominion 50-37 on Saturday night.
After falling behind 7-0 in the first quarter, the Mustangs (4-2) scored 20 straight points — including a 75-yard touchdown pass from Broadous to Dominique Johnson — to go in front 20-7.
A 44-yard touchdown pass from Broadous to Mark Rodgers made the score 27-14 before Thomas DeMarco and Reid Evans hooked up on a 10-yard touchdown pass to pull the Monarchs (3-3) to within seven, 27-20, after a missed extra point.
Broadous added two touchdown runs in the fourth quarter to extend Cal Poly’s lead to 44-30.
