LONDON (AP) — FIFA president Sepp Blatter will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron on Wednesday to discuss England’s bid to host the 2018 World Cup.

Blatter and FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke will receive a presentation at 10 Downing Street before meeting London Mayor Boris Johnson.

England 2018 chairman Geoff Thompson says the presentation will confirm plans to create “a new global fund to provide benefits across the world for many generations to come.”

Cameron invited Blatter within days of his election victory in May. FIFA will decide Dec. 2 the host nation for the World Cup.

England, Russia and joint bids from Spain-Portugal and the Netherlands-Belgium are competing in a four-way race.
