FALL CITY, Wash. (AP) — The Washington State Patrol says several children have been injured in a school bus accident in Fall City.

Trooper Christina Martin says the accident Wednesday afternoon involved a car pulling out of a driveway and colliding with a school bus carrying special needs children on their way home from school.

The state Department of Transportation says the school bus was blocking the westbound lane of State Route 202 at Fish Hatchery Road and causing delays for other drivers.

Martin says several children have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Other details were not immediately available.
