Streets closed by suspicious device

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Some streets around Spokane’s Deaconess Medical Center are closed as police investigate a suspicious device found outside.

Officers responded just after 8 a.m. Wednesday and found the device. Members of the Explosive Device Unit are on their way.

Police have closed a couple of streets and cleared people in a 300-foot radius.
