GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Taiwan Jones ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns, including a 24-yarder with 41 seconds to play, and Eastern Washington rallied to beat Northern Colorado 35-28 on Saturday.

Jesse Hoffman had a 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and Brandon Kaufman caught a touchdown pass for the Eagles (5-2, 4-1 Big Sky), winners of four in a row.

Dylan Orms passed for 199 yards and a touchdown and ran for another for the Bears (2-5, 1-4).

Eastern Washington trailed 28-21 in the fourth before Bo Mitchell found Kaufman for a 4-yard TD pass with 3:08 left.

A fumble return gave the Eagles the ball at Northern Colorado’s 39 with 1:01 left, and two plays later Jones scored on a 24-yard run.
