TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Tampa Bay center Jeff Faine is inactive for the Buccaneers’ game against the New Orleans Saints because of a thigh injury. He is being replaced by third-year pro Jeremy Zuttah.

Faine was injured during last week’s 24-21 win at Cincinnati and is expected to be sidelined several weeks.

With Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas still out with injuries, Ladell Betts starts at running back for the Saints.

The remainder of Tampa Bay’s inactives are quarterback Rudy Carpenter, running backs LeGarrette Blount and Kregg Lumpkin, cornerback Elbert Mack, fullback Chris Pressley, receiver Maurice Stovall and defensive end Kyle Moore.

New Orleans’ inactives include cornerbacks Randall Gay and Tracy Porter, linebacker Scott Shanie, tackle Charles Brown, tight end Tory Humphrey and defensive end Junior Galette.
