ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — The Denver Broncos have promoted linebacker Diyral Briggs from their practice squad and placed wide receiver Matthew Willis on injured reserve with a broken foot.

The Broncos also signed receiver Eron Riley to their practice squad.

Briggs was signed to Denver’s practice squad on Sept. 22 after spending parts of the past two seasons on San Francisco’s roster. He had four special teams tackles in four games with the 49ers last season and also played in the club’s opener against Seattle this season.
