The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants to fill two vacancies on the Salary Review Commission. The five-member volunteer commission studies the relationship of salaries to the duties of the mayor and city council members, and establishes how much they are paid. Completed applications must be received by 5 p.m. Nov. 23, at the city manager’s office.

For an application or more information, contact Kerry Peck at Vancouver City Hall, 210 E. 13th St.; by phone at 487-8616; or by e-mail at kerry.peck@ci.vancouver.wa.us. Apply online at www. cityofvancouver.us/boards.

Applicants must be city of Vancouver residents and registered voters. No city officer, official, employee or immediate family member of any city officer, official or employee shall be eligible for membership.

Commission members are appointed by the mayor and are subject to approval of the city council. Each commission member is appointed for a single four-year term.
