ELLENSBURG, Wash. (AP) — The Kittitas County sheriff’s office says a hiker missing since Saturday has been found OK.

Searchers spotted the woman Tuesday afternoon under a red poncho she was using as shelter.

The sheriff’s office says she is alert and able to walk. She is being flown out by helicopter.

Fifty-year-old Natalya Manko of Tacoma had failed to return Saturday from a day hike in the Ingalls Lake area near Mount Stuart in central Washington. Her car was found at a trailhead.

The weekend storm brought snow to the area. The sheriff’s office asked winter rescue teams to help with the search Tuesday.
