Triplet named Superior Court judge

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Gov. Chris Gregoire has appointed James M. Triplet as a Superior Court judge in Spokane County.

Triplet will replace Judge Neal Q. Rielly, who retired Aug. 29. Triplet has served as a Spokane County Superior Court commissioner since 2004.

Triplet served as a bailiff while attending Gonzaga law school. He worked as a private lawyer before becoming commissioner in 2004.
